Bobbie Miller Support Service Team Leader

Mrs. Miller joined the Amity Regional School District Guidance staff in 1986. She is licensed by the state of Connecticut as a professional counselor. Mrs. Miller formerly taught History and was  a Guidance Counselor for the West Haven School system. She also worked as  a Guidance and Job Placement  Counselor at a  post -secondary  vocational school in New Haven. Currently, Mrs. Miller is a member of the Amity Middle School Student Assistance Model Team, and the Student Study and Crisis Teams. She also serves on the building and district Planning and Placement Teams, and is a member of the Middle School Renewal Team. Mrs. Miller  is presently serving on the literacy committee. Mrs. Miller  also collaborates with support staff to promote a caring middle school environment. Mrs. Miller received a Bachelor of Science in Social Studies and a Master of Science in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Bridgeport. She was chosen as Amity's Teacher of the Year in 1994. She was also the recipient of the Gold Pen Award for 2004.
